The engineer behind Voycee. I build, monitor, and obsess over every detail so that small businesses get the same quality technology that large companies use.
The moment that started Voycee
I needed a haircut. Simple enough. I pulled up Google, found 5 salons near me, and started calling. The first one rang out. The second went to voicemail. Third, fourth, fifth. Same thing. Nobody answered. I drove to one of them. The stylist was right there, cutting someone's hair, phone ringing on the counter.
That should have been the end of the story. But I kept noticing it everywhere.
At a hotel, I stood in line for 10 minutes because the front desk was stuck on a phone call instead of helping the guests physically standing in front of them. At restaurants during dinner rush, the phone rings and rings. Every unanswered call is a lost reservation. IT service companies, dental clinics, plumbers. The same problem, over and over.
Small businesses lose customers every day, not because their service is bad, but because nobody picks up the phone.
The road to Voycee
Five years of building real products, from fintech platforms to voice automation systems, all leading to one product.
Building fintech at scale
Rewrote trading APIs at DriveWealth, handling millions of transactions. Led the microservices migration across 8+ modules. Learned what it takes to build systems that don’t break under real traffic.
Smart scheduling that actually worked
Joined TeamCal and built their automatic scheduling system. Connected it to live calendar data so it could check availability and book in real time. Calendar conflicts dropped 43%. That was the moment I realized this technology could change how businesses operate.
Phone automation at massive scale
Built the call handling system for a company with hundreds of locations. Order inquiries, call routing, after-hours support. Automated processes cut manual work by 32%. Seeing how it worked at that scale showed me exactly what small businesses were missing.
The salon that never answered
I needed a haircut. Called 5 salons. Not one picked up. I drove to one — they were right there, just too busy to answer the phone. That’s when it clicked: this isn’t a salon problem. This is every small business.
Voycee is born
I took everything I learned: phone automation, smart scheduling, and years of building real systems. And I built the product small businesses actually need. Not a demo. Not a proof of concept. A receptionist that answers every call.
What Voycee does
Voycee is a voice receptionist for small businesses. When a customer calls and nobody can pick up (during a procedure, a dinner rush, a client appointment), Voycee answers. It books appointments, handles common questions, and makes sure no customer walks away because the phone rang out.
Not a chatbot. Not a voicemail tree. A receptionist that sounds natural, knows your business, and works 24/7, for less than the cost of one missed booking per month.
